Gayle Renee Wilson Carroll

Mrs. Gayle Renee Wilson Carroll, age 56, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her residence.

She was born on March 19, 1959 in Atlanta, GA and was a daughter of the late Lewis Wilson and Mildred Lucille Sorrells Wilson. Mrs. Carroll had lived most of her life in Rockmart, moving here from Powder Springs when she was twelve years old. She loved to spend time working in her yard, enjoyed arts and crafts and shopping.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Carroll of Rockmart, to whom she was married on September 14, 2001; son, Kevin Lewis Clark, Rockmart; daughter, Shea Clark Spinks, Rockmart; sister, Tracey Franklin, Burleson, TX; two stepchildren : Tiffany Carroll Hooper, Cedartown and Ashley Neil Carroll, Rockmart; ten grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Morning View Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hulsey and Rev. Gary Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Adam Franklin, Scott Carroll, Billy Carroll, Michael Shelton, Dennis Shelton and Gene Ferguson.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
