Mrs. Geneva Leatherwood Corn, age 73, of Cedartown, GA passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
Geneva was born in Haralson County, GA on April 19, 1947, a daughter of the late W.L. Leatherwood and the late Mary Ella Weaver Leatherwood. Mrs. Corn had lived all of her life in Polk County where she retired from Angelica. She loved to fish, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Corn was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Corn; and her son, Robert Todd Baker.
Survivors include her two sons: Scott Baker and his wife, Kim, Silver Creek, and Michael Baker, Rockmart; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Baker, Rockmart; two brothers: Tony Segars, Cartersville, and Jerry Leatherwood, Virginia; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
