Mr. Bradley Gerald White, age 86, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Wednesday morning, December 18, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. White was born in Polk County on August 4, 1938, son of the late Bradley Conyers White and Frances Liddie Pinkard White. He had lived all his life in Polk County and was a born again Christian who loved his Lord. Mr. White was Pentecostal by faith and was a Media Member of Jimmy Swaggart Family Worship Center. He had worked for many years in the Quality Assurance Department of Engineered Fabrics. Mr. White enjoyed gardening and yard work, was an avid outdoorsman and loved the mountains and lakes.
In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Eugene White, step-son, Keith Barber, brother, Franklin White, and a sister, Estelle Lipham.
Mr. White is survived by his wife, Brenda Ledford White, whom he married October 23, 1981; son, Barry Lamar White; step-son, Tracy (Tina) Samples; brother, Darrell White. Nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. White will be held on Sunday afternoon, December 22, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Grant officiating. Eulogies will be given by Cody Lumpkin and Rex Ledford. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery in Cedartown.
Mr. White’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
Pallbearers will include Butch Garrett, Cody Merritt, Joel Hicks, Pete Houston, Phillip Wheeler, and Jason Strange.
