Gregg Ellis

Mr. Gregg Ellis, age 64, of Rome, GA and formerly of Rockmart passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 17, 1956 a son of Charles E. "Chuck" Ellis and Donna Tisen Ellis. Greggs' family moved to Rockmart in 1968 from Akron. He was a 1975 graduate of Rockmart High School and very involved in the athletic programs of the school. He later worked for Georgia Power. He had been a resident of Rome for the past twenty years and had most recently worked for the Rome Athletic Club. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a son, Carson Ellis, Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Kim Ellis, Rockmart; brother, Jeff Ellis and his wife Ginger, Rockmart and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Rob Parker, Perry Hulsey, Patrick Hulsey, Drew Ragsdale and Austin Ragsdale.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
