Hagan Morris

Mr. Hagan Anthony Morris, age 48, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, February 5, 2016.

He was born in Rockmart, GA on August 5, 1967 a son of Linda Fay Robinson Morris and the late Silas Anthony Morris. Hagan had lived all of his life in Rockmart and was a retired diesel mechanic. He was a member of Davitte Lodge # 513 F. & A.M.. He loved to work on cars, tinker, collect knives and fish. He especially loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. After becoming disabled he spent a great amount of his time nurturing kittens.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy Owens Morris of Rockmart to whom he was married on December 12, 1986; four daughters: Hope Morris, Kayla Morris, Hayle Morris and Lia Morris all of Rockmart; one son, John Morris, Rockmart; mother, Linda Fay Morris, Rockmart; sister, Cynthia Fowler, Cedartown; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Orville Camron officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Woods Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: David Duke, Corey Baxter, Spencer Pierce, Justin Bullard, Cicely Summerville and Joseph Mayfield. David Fowler and Preston Pierce will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
