Mr. Harold E. Ingram, Sr. age 88, of Kennesaw, GA passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 in a Marietta, GA medical center.
He was born in Rockmart, GA on June 15, 1929, a son of the late William (Will) Darnell Ingram and the late Blonnie King Ingram. He had lived the greater part of his live in Kennesaw where he was a member of the Kennesaw First Baptist Church. H e was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1950 to 1952 and was a retired employee of Lockheed where he was employed for 40 years. He enjoyed square dancing and gardening.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons: Harold E. (Hal) Ingram, Jr. and Tim Ingram; four brothers: Forrest, Reece, Donald and Raymond Ingram; and by three sisters: Dorothy Hastings, Margie Sloan and Gertrude Ingram.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Ingram to whom he was married on September 20, 1990; three children: Chris Ingram, Cathy Pascual and William Ingram; six grandchildren; sister, Ann Hutcheson; and brother, Buell Ingram.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Perry Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include the following gentlemen and are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 on Saturday: Edward Pascual, Chris Ingram, Joey Ingram, William Ingram, Thomas Ingram and David Ingram.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
