Hershel Lee Pace

Hershel Lee Pace, age 67, lifelong resident of Rockmart, GA, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born on September 18, 1953 in Rockmart, GA, to his late parents; Luther Pace Sr. and Bertha Carter Pace. Hershel worked as a mechanic for Georgia Power and retired after 40 years of service. In his free time, he greatly enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Mr. Pace was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Pace is survived by his loving children: Jeff Pace and his wife, Ashley of Rockmart, GA, Derek Pace and his wife, Katharine of Rockmart, GA, Michelle Pace of Aragon, GA, 8 grandchildren, 2 brothers: Jr. Pace of Rockmart, GA, Hugh Pace of Rockmart, GA, sister, Frances Lockridge of Rockmart, GA, numerous nieces and nephews, his loving companion, Karen Pace and the mother of his children, Donna Pace of Aragon, GA.

In accordance to Mr. Pace's wishes, his body has been cremated and a family memorial service will be held at a later date.
