Howard E. Ellis

Mr. Howard E. Ellis, age 83, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 1, 1979 in Carrolton, GA, to his late parents: John Dee Ellis and Minnie Edwards Ellis. Howard lived most of his life in Georgia and Florida and had moved to Aragon in 2020 from New Port Richey, FL. Mr. Ellis was retired from Yellow Freight, where he worked as a truck driver for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed to go fishing and play Pinochie. Mr. Ellis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Sue Ellis, and brothers and sisters: Donald K Ellis, Evelyn Odum, Jo Sullivan, Tom Hill Ellis, Charlotte LeCoumpte, Margaret Hendricks, James Nelson Ellis and James Roberts Ellis.

Mr. Ellis is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Ellis of Aragon, GA, daughter, Ann Palmer of Palm Coast, FL, son, Howard Ellis, Jr., of Villa Rica, GA, daughter, Rebecca Jo Ellis of Palm Coast, FL, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister, Paulette Goodwill of Aragon, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance to Mr. Ellis's wishes, his body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
