Ivy Lee Grace

Mrs. Ivy Lee Grace, age 84, of Bowdon, GA, and formerly of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 19, 2024.

Mrs. Grace was born in Rockmart, on June 4, 1940, a daughter of the late Jeffery Ingle and Lily Jones Ingle and lived her childhood years in Rockmart. She had been a resident of Bowdon for the past 15 years. Mrs. Grace was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and loved going to church. She was a housewife and homemaker who loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Hershell Grace, three children, Michael Grace, Rajean Grace and C.W. Grace, a grandchild, Faith Tolbert, brothers, Henry Ingle, Paul Ingle, Ralph Ingle, and Lee Ingle, and sisters, Bessie Stokes, Gertrude Cole, and Trmmie Bennett.

Mrs. Grace is survived by her children, Roy (Jill) Grace, Timothy Grace, Barbara (Kirby) Kimbrell, and Shirley (Harold) Hudson. Eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild along with several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace will be Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Jack Goss and Rev. Buddy Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.

Mrs. Grace’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.

Pallbearers will include Jimmy Stokes, Richard Stokes, Lamar Ingle, Brandon Tolbert, Eric Grace, and Steven Grace.
