Jack Lindsey

Mr. Jack H. Lindsey, age 54, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Atlanta, GA on October 9, 1960 a son of the late Bennie and Clara Mae Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey had been a resident of Polk County for the past 30 years and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to hunt and fish and formerly worked as a welder for L & W Machine Shop.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lindsey, Rockmart; three sons: Tony Lindsey, Chris Lindsey and Bradley Lindsey all of Rockmart; four grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Ann; four brothers: Johnny, Jerry, Fred and Jim; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Rodger Whorton officiating. Interment will follow in the Yorkville Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
