Jack Washington Yarbrough

Mr. Jack W. Yarbrough,Jr., age 87, of 1996 Grady Road, Cedartown, GA passed away Wednesday, April 30th at his residence following several months of declining health.

He was born in Polk County, GA on March 31, 1921 a son of the late Jack W. Yarbrough, Sr. and Molly Haney Yarbrough. Mr. Yarbrough had lived the greater part of his life in Polk County. He retired from Ashland Oil Company where he had been employed as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Yarbrough was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mrs. Mary Yarbrough, Cedartown; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Womack and her husband, Terry, Cedartown; one granddaughter, Mrs. Melindy Gaiser, Cartersville.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Friday, May 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Charles Drummond officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
