James Michael Marenic, Sr.

Mr. James Michael Marenic, Sr., age 69, of Collinsville, AL passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 30, 1949, a son of the late William Marenic and the late Alvenia Barton Marenic. Mr. Marenic had lived the past twenty three years in the Centre and Collinsville area where he was a member of the Sand Rock Church of Christ. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the 101st Airborne division.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Marenic; three children: Andrealyn Hazelbaker, James Michael Marenic, Jr. and Alvenia Anna Marie Marenic Himes; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Lee Marenic and Tom Marenic.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Marenic was cremated and memorial services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Sand Rock Church of Christ.
