James Allen Wallace

Allen was born October 17, 1961 in Decatur, Alabama. He passed away March 19, 2024 at 62 years old in his home in Rockmart, Georgia. He moved to Georgia as a child and spent his adult life in the Metro Atlanta area.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ashley, his mother, Shirley Faye Phelan, brother and sister.

Allen is survived by his daughter Isabella and many friends who considered him family. 

Many children called him Uncle Allen, Uncle James or Uncle Waldo.

He was a Cub Scout as a young boy and loved outdoor activities, especially fishing. He was an experience carpenter and a very hard worker. He loved his daughter and his friends and never met a stranger.

His motto in life was “If I can make someone smile, it makes my day.”

Memorial services will be held at The Full Gospel Church of New Beginnings 414 Goodyear Street in Rockmart, Georgia Saturday March 30^th at 11am. Pastor Chris Hightower will be officiating.

We will have refreshments, snacks and hot dogs following the service. He requested a little cook-out style meal in his memory.
