Jamie Cantrell

Mrs. Jamie Lea Cantrell, age 31, of 2048 Old Alabama Road, Taylorsville, GA passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 in a Rome Medical Center.


She was born in Rome, GA on May 27, 1979 a daughter of Randy Coats and Becky Mitchell Jones. Jamie had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County before moving to Bartow County four years ago. She was a homemaker and member of the Crossview Community Church.


Survivors include her husband, Darin Cantrell of Taylorsville to whom she was married on August 4, 2001; three children: Alyson Irene Cantrell, Chloe Jaydin Cantrell and Andrew Darin Cantrell all of Taylorsville; mother, Becky Jones and husband Wade, Rockmart; father, Randy Coats and wife Jill, Rockmart; five sisters: Amy Lopez, Rockmart, Lacey Coats, Rockmart, Jodi Jones, Rockmart, Hallie Keiser, Rockmart and Alicia Waddell, Cedartown; four brothers: Chad Jones, Rockmart, Jeremy Jones, Rockmart, Kevin Coats, Rockmart and Rusty Epperson, Norfolk, VA; grandmothers: Ruth Coats and Martha House both of Rockmart.


Funeral services will be held Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Revs. Moses Wilson, Danny Tucker, Danny Echols and Danny Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.


The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
