Jason Van Maddox, age 44, of Cartersville, passed away Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Jason was born in Dublin, GA, on May 25, 1978, son of Danny Maddox and Ramona Harrell Maddox Wallace. He was a high school graduate and worked with Matthew Smith Trucking as a truck driver. Jason loved trucks and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed life.
Jason was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Maddox.
Jason is survived by his fiancé, Shauna Bagley; son, Patrick (Hannah) Maddox; two step-children, Alex Martin and Amber Davidson; grandchildren, Anna Mae Maddox, and Branson Maddox; mother, Ramona (Jimmy) Wallace; father, Danny (Bonita) Maddox; brother, Kevin (Michelle) Maddox; step-brother, Jeremy Todd Wallace; nephew, Evan Maddox.
Funeral services for Jason will be held Saturday afternoon, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Elrod officiating. Michelle Maddox will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Burell family plot of Rose Hill Cemetery.
Jason’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Friday evening, April 14, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will include Cass Carter, Danny Maddox, Kevin Maddox, Patrick Maddox, Alex Martin, and Evan Maddox.
