Jeff Alexander

Mr. Jeff Alexander, age 55, of Rockmart, GA (the Yorkville Community) passed away Thursday, January 26, 2016 following a two year illness.

Jeff was born in Rome, GA on December 28, 1961 the son of Ruby Lee Fennell Alexander and the late Norris Odell Alexander. He had lived most of his life in the Yorkville area where he worked as a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed the outdoors spending time fishing, hunting, driving his tractor and he also enjoyed wood carving. Jeff was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Dallas, GA.

In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anne Weaver Alexander on September 1, 2015.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Anne Alexander, Rockmart; mother, Ruby Lee Fennell Alexander, Rome; sister, Beth Carroll (Freddy), Taylorsville; niece, Rhonda (Scott) Waddell, Taylorsville; nephew, Lee Carroll, Taylorsville; great niece, Lexie Blanton and great nephew, Zander Carroll; a number of cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2107 at 2:00 pm in the Springdale Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Wayne Fennell, Scott Lanier, Michael Lanier, Larry Fennell, Mark Byess and Kem Weaver

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
