Jennifer Hicks Potter

Mrs. Jennifer Hicks Potter, age 38, of Fyffe, AL and formerly of Paulding County, GA passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 in a Ft. Payne health care facility.

She was born in Villa Rica, GA on September 28, 1976, a daughter of Tommy Hicks and the late Mary Lynette Puckett Hicks. Mrs. Potter had lived most of her life in the Paulding County area before moving to Fyffe, AL in 2014. She was a graduate of Paulding County High School and was a member of Geraldine Church of God. Mrs. Potter loved to listen to music and spend time reading books.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lynette Hicks; and grandparents: Billy and Barbara Puckett and Hassell and Evelyn Hicks.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Potter, Fyffe, AL; three children: Jacob Webb, San Jose, CA, Josh Hicks, Paulding County, GA and Sean Higgins, Ft. Payne, AL; father, Tommy Hicks, Paulding County, GA; brother, Jeremy Hicks, Paulding County, GA; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Hughes and Bro. Earl Potter officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulahland Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Jacob Webb, Josh Hicks, Jordan Downs, Charles Potter, Jacob Dutton, Brian Hicks and Larry Potter.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
