Jeremy Shane Hester

Mr. Jeremy Shane Hester, age 47, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

Shane was born on September 5, 1974 in Rome, GA, to his parents: Danny Hester and Pam Smith Hester. Mr. Hester lived most of his life in Rockmart. Shane was a former butcher at Super Save, Triangle and Ingles grocery stores. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting comic books.

Mr. Hester was preceded in death by his loving mother, Pam Arp.

Shane is survived by his wife, Jeanae Haney Jordan -Hester, father, Danny Hester, brother, John Hester, sisters: Lynn Costley, Terry Chaves and Ramey Brown, half sister, Constance Curtis, 5 aunts: Phyllis Middlebrooks, Cathy Davidson, Wanda Grizzle, Cindy Williams and Teresa Wilson, uncles: Tim Hester and Mike Smith, nephews: Cody Hester, Jonathan Reyes, Josh Barcerra and Carson Brown, nieces: Hope Hester, Cassie Morris and Candi Crenshaw, niece and adopted sister, Mamie Brown, and his loving caregivers: Dustin & Leslie Ruff.

Memorial Services for Mr. Jeremy Shane Hester will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 7:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford Fountain officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM until the service hour at 7:00 PM.
