Jodi Johnson Dover

Mrs. Jodi Johnson Dover, age 42, of Aragon, GA passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Jodi was born in Rome, GA on July 8, 1980, a daughter of Ricky Allen Johnson and Pam Cordle Johnson. She had lived all of her life in Aragon and was a member of The Church of God Of The Union Assembly. Jodi had such a spirit of love for others and never met a stranger. She loved the outdoors, was very outgoing, bubbly, enjoyed helping others, and was a good human. One of Jodi’s greatest enjoyments was doing hair and she owned and operated Split Ends Hair Salon in Rockmart for thirteen years.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy and Pearl Johnson, Jimmy and Patricia Cordle; and step-father-in-law, Troy Beaty.

Jodi is survived by her husband, Joey Dover of Aragon, to whom she was married on July 21, 2001; two daughters, Jalee Dover and Jacey Dover; father, Ricky Johnson; mother, Pam Johnson; six siblings, Becky (Matt) Johnson, Haven (Justin) Payne, Rachel (Jesse) Perkins, Mychaylah (Doyle) Winkles, Brylynn Johnson, and Ricky Johnson, Jr.; mother-in-law, Nancy Beal, sister-in-law, Kisha Kellogg; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Jesse Starnes officiating. Private interment will be held in Aragon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Matt Johnson, Justin Payne, Jesse Perkins, Doyle Winkles, Dylan Johnson, and Jacob Green.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
