John Robert (Bobby) Hutcheson

Mr. John Robert (Bobby) Hutcheson, age 89, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024.

Mr. Hutcheson was born in Rockmart, GA, on December 4, 1934, a son of the late Willard D. Hutcheson and Ludie Holder Hutcheson. He lived most of his life in Rockmart and was a 1953 Rockmart High School graduate. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace/Engineered Fabrics as the Shipping Department Supervisor. He then worked at Tip Top Poultry as a guard and courier.

He loved his family, his God, crossword puzzles, western novels, bowling and traveling.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Shepherd, brothers, William Marion Hutcheson and Willard (Billy) Hutcheson, and daughter-in-law, Beverly Hutcheson.

Bobby is survived by three children, Robert Carey Hutcheson, Robbie Burton (Lonnie) and Rhonda Mihalik (Bob); stepson, Randy Lee; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 12:30 pm at Draketown Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Warriner officiating. 

The family will receive friends Saturday March 2, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
