Johnnie Bell Crawford Dover

Johnnie Bell Crawford Dover, age 78, transitioned to her heavenly home after an extended illness on February 13, 2021. She was born in Polk County on July 11, 1942 to her parents Calvin and Ruby Louise Atkins Bell. Johnnie loved spending time at her place at Lake Weiss where she would fish, ride on the jet ski, kayak, or just looking out over the water. Over the years, she spent countless hours putting puzzles together. Johnnie retired after 42 years of service from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company/Meggitt in Rockmart. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister.

In addition to her parents, she is procced in death by her husband and father to her children Eugene “Gene” Crawford and Tommy Dover. A daughter, Vickie Crawford Bell and a son, Frank W. Crawford, a grandson Keith Eugene Bell and two son in laws Keith Bell and Ron Seddon.

She is survived by a daughter Donna Seddon of Cedartown, and Bonnie Crawford McCarty (Terry Renfroe) of Cedartown, brothers James Bell of Cedartown and Wesley Bell of Centre Alabama, and a sister Linda (Chesley) Chambers of Cedartown. Her grandchildren Brandy (Jon) Ragsdale, Chris (Emily) Seddon, Jeff Crawford, Aaron McCarty and Andrew McCarty, Amy (Stacy) Dingler, Daniel (Sindy) Bell, and Nick (Amanda) Renfroe. Her great grandchildren Justin Crawford, Calvin and Bobby Ragsdale, Jaden and Zarian Dingler, Brayden Bell, Kathryn, Joley and Joseph Seddon, Sailore and Stella McCarty, and Bailee, Bristol, and Presley Renfroe, Breanna Ellette, Mason Ellette and Jensen Ellette. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Dover will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Polk Memory Gardens with Dr. Chesley “Trey” Chambers, Caleb Chambers and Tony Montgomery officiating. The family will receive family and friends for a visitation at the residence of 642 Wimberly Hill Road, Cedartown Georgia on Friday, February 19, 2021 anytime after 11:00 AM and on Saturday, February 20, 2021 until 3:30 PM. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Daniel Bell, Chris Seddon, Jeff Crawford, Justin Crawford, Calvin Ragsdale, Aaron McCarty, Andrew McCarty and Nick Renfroe. Honorary pallbearers will be Zarian Dingler, Brayden Bell, Joseph Seddon and Bobby Ragsdale.
