Johnny Walker, Sr.

Mr. Johnny Wayne Walker, Sr., age 60, of Aragon, GA passed away Friday, May 1, 2015.

He was born in Anniston, AL on February 23, 1955 a son of the late Elbert Lee Walker and Lillie Mae Morgan Walker. Mr. Walker had been a resident of Polk County for over thirty years. He was a former employee of SLS Casket Company of Rockmart and was presently an employee of the Rome Plow Company of Cedartown. Johnny loved to play golf, fish and play horse shoes. He was a hard worker and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by three sisters: Peggy Walker, Della Haynes and Josephine Harmon and by a brother, Joe Walker.

Survivors include four sons: Johnny Wayne Walker, Jr. and wife Sherry, Leesburg, AL, Christopher Walker, Acworth, Jason Walker, Yorkville and Paul Walker, Yorkville; three grandchildren: Zack Walker, Kyler Walker and Madison Walker; four sisters: Frances Quillin, Anniston, AL, Juanita Rives, Jefferson, GA, Linda Martin, Oxford, AL and Barbara McCallough, Oxford, AL; four brothers: George Walker, Oxford, AL, James Walker, Oxford, AL, Buford Walker, Rockmart, GA and Eddie Walker, Anniston, AL.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor James Cordell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
