Joyce Ballew Streetman

Joyce Ballew Streetman, age 83, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on January 25, 2021. She was born on December 31, 1937 in Aragon, GA, to her late parents; Ernest and Annie Duke Ballew. Mrs. Streetman lived all her life in Polk County and was a lifetime member of Euharlee Baptist Church. Joyce retired from Polk County School System and then worked as a homemaker, taking care of her family who she loved so much. Mrs. Streetman was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Streetman, three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Streetman is survived by her daughters: Terri Stone and her husband, Rick, Gayla Carlton and her husband, Bobby, son, Mike Streetman, sister, Patricia Ballew Pope, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Joyce Ballew Streetman will be private.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Rick Stone, Bobby Carlton, Chad Carlton, Brad Carlton, Trent Stamey, Philip Reed , Tye Carlton and Kendall Stanley . Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be her loving great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial donations be made to The American Lung Association in loving memory of Mrs. Streetman.
