Joyce Yarbrough

Mrs. Joyce Yarbrough, age 86, of Carrollton, GA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Joyce was born on October 26, 1935 in Cullman, AL to her parents, Homer Littlefield and Mattie Moore Littlefield. Mrs. Yarbrough spent her childhood years in East Point and had been a resident of Carrollton for the past 15 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and most importantly spending time with her family, who she loved dearly. She was Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Talmadge Yarbrough, 2 sisters: Grace Ezell and Katie Marie Williams and her 2 brothers: Garland Littlefield and Sonny Littlefield.

Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by her loving children: Sabriena Wyatt (Tommy) of Waco, GA, and Dennis “Dink” Yarbrough of Carrollton, GA, grandchildren: Chad and Heather Yarbrough, Brittany and David Thompson, Bo and Kristin Wyatt, Jonathan Yarbrough, Sydney Wyatt and Allan Spells, great-grandchildren: Avery and Kamryn Thompson, Madalyn Yarbrough, Molly, Hannah and Thomas Yarbrough, Memphis McKenzie, Montgomery Pearson, Christopher, Zackery and Matthew Morgan and Felicity Wyatt, sister Louella Hall of Spaulding County, GA, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Yarbrough will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Danny Goddard officiating and Mrs. Brittany Thompson providing a eulogy. Interment will follow the service at Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Chard Yarbrough, David Thompson, Bo Wyatt, Allan Spells, Brad Yarbrough, Terry Kyle Dorris, Randy Lee Dorris and Brian Williams. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Jonathan Yarbrough, Steve Yarbrough and Randy Dorris.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for a visitation on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
