Mrs. Judy Ann Fox, age 73, of Rome, GA passed away at her home on June 17, 2016.
She was born in Chickamauga, GA on October 1, 1942 a daughter of Joseph Howard Brown and Frances Louise Edgeman Brown. Mrs. Fox had been a resident of Rome since 1965 moving here from Cookeville, TN. After retiring, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed bird watching.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Davis Fox on March 14, 2016; by a sister, Nellie Padgett and by a brother, Earl Brown.
She is survived by two daughters: April Fox Walraven and her husband Bryan of Rome and Tammy Fox Duvall and her husband Patrick of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren: Christian Duvall and Braydon Duvall; two step grandchildren: Benjamin Duvall and Catherine Duvall; two sisters: Thelma Stewart, Cookeville, TN and Linda Smith, Rome; five brothers: David Brown (Mildred), Rome, Fred Brown, Chickamauga, Bobby Brown (Donna), Lafayette, Curtis Brown (Laura), Chickamauga and Wayne Brown (Brenda), Lafayette; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Myrtle Hill Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. Billy Fricks officiating.
The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Judy Ann Fox.
