Judy Elaine "Nana" Walls

Mrs. Judy Elaine “Nana” Walls, age 71, of Aragon, GA, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 21, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Walls was born in Rockmart, GA, on July 29, 1951, a daughter of the late Clarence Costlow and Edna Hulsey Costlow. She had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Walls was a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service for over 15years. She loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walls was preceded in death by a son, Joshua “Chad” Walls, and a sister, Sandra Gail Causey.

Mrs. Walls is survived by five sons, Larry Dean (Anita Faye) Walls, Jr. of Silver Creek, GA, Jeremy Keith (Kayla Nicole) Walls of Aragon, Michael Shane (Billie) Walls of Taylorsville, GA, James Byron (Renea Buttrum) Walls of Cedartown, GA, and Jeffery Chet (Ashley Dawson) Walls of Aragon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carolyn Silva of Newnan, GA, Teresa (Duane) King of Newnan, and Janice Hamby of Cedartown; one brother, Jimmy Costlow of Newnan; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Causey of Cedartown.

Funeral services for Mrs. Walls will be Saturday afternoon, June 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dallas Cornette officiating. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery with Rev. Steve Arrington in charge of committal rites.

Mrs. Walls’ family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers will include Mikey Walls, Cody Walls, Montana Walls, Hayden Walls, Jayden Walls, Michael Phanmanee, Nick Madon, and Adam Sheeter.
