Julius Ray Green Jr.

Mr. Julius Ray Green, Jr., age 67, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021.

Mr. Green was born on September 19, 1954 in Rockmart, GA, to his parents: Julius Ray Green Sr. and Elizabeth Tucker Green. Julius spent the greater part of his life in Rockmart and attended Rockmart Highschool. He was of Baptist faith and had worked as a brick mason for 25 years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, grilling, and spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Mr. Green is survived by his loving wife, Lagina Green, children: Brandy Green, Michael Green, Christopher Green and Julius Ray Green, III, step-son, Jesse Rogers, 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Green will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Dennis Singleton, Michael Green, Christopher Green, Julius Ray Green III, Brandon Austin Green, and Kaleb Ashton Green.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 12:30 PM until the service begins at 2:30 PM.
