June H. Stansell

Ms June H. Stansell, age 89, of Nashville, TN passed peacefully from this life Saturday November 2, 2013.

June was born April 16, 1924 in Cherokee County, Alabama the only daughter of Robert and Bonnie Hartline. At an early age the family moved to Floyd County where she attended Celanese School, later graduating from Model High School in 1944, where her mother Bonnie was employed as Dietician. She worked with Burlington Mills for over thirty six years, retiring due to health reasons.

While in Shannon, she attended the New Antioch Baptist Church where she taught the three and four old class. She was also a member of the Brighton Chapter # 368 Order of the Eastern Star serving as Worthy Matron for two years. She would later live with her brother Bill and his wife JoAnne Stewart Hartline and moved with them to Nashville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers George Alfred, Robert Guy, Herbert Alton and John William Hartline.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The family has requested that flowers please be omitted and that memorial donations be made in June?s memory to Lakeshore Heartland, 3025 Fernbrook Dr. Nashville, TN 37214.
