Karen Wright Bolt

Mrs. Karen Wright Bolt, age 60, of Rockmart passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Statesville, NC on October 4, 1956. Karen had been a resident of Rockmart since 2009 moving here from Cartersville, GA. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening , working with her flowers, traveling and singing. Karen loved her dog "Baby Girl". She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Gibson.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Bolt of Rockmart to whom she was married on June 16, 2009; two daughters: Stephanie (Chris) Cabe, Kingston and Cassie (Derrick) Tilley, Aragon; mother, Violet Irene Gibson, White, GA; step daughter, Melissa Bolt Ruiz, Rockmart; two brothers: Bobby Wright, Cartersville and Ricky Wright, White, GA; five grandchildren and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cabe and Rev. Levi Wyatt officiating. Eulogies will be given by her daughters. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Tyler Cabe, Scott Ferguson, Terry Gayton, Bobby Wright, Jr., Ken Williams and Matthew Wright. Honorary pallbearers will include: Doug Wheeler, Bobby Wright and Ricky Wright.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
