Kathy Denise Stringer

Mrs. Kathy Denise Stringer, age 59, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2022.

Kathy was born in Rome, GA on March 30, 1962, a daughter of the late Garner Barnes and the late Doris Christine Bowman Barnes. She had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart and she enjoyed watching the Golden Girls and the Waltons. Her greatest joy came in loving the Lord.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth, Grover and Johnny Barnes.

Survivors include her husband, Jo Ed Stringer, Jr.; two sons: Brandon Robinson and Bradley Robinson; daughter, Amanda Robinson; five grandchildren; brother, Jeff Barnes; two sisters: Tammie Boydstun (Kenneth) and Gena McEver (Wayne); and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Stringer officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 2:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
