Katie Marie Lanier

Ms. Katie Marie Lanier, age 34, of Rossville, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Katie was born on May 7, 1987 in Rome, GA to her parents: David and Carla Sanders Lanier. She spent the greater part of her life in Dalton where she was a graduate of Southeast Whitfield High School ,She enjoyed crafting in her free time. Katie was a former manager of Hibbett Sports and was working for Amazon for the past 2 years. Ms. Lanier was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Iva Ruth Lanier.

Katie is survived by her brothers: David (Holly) Lanier, Brad (April) Lanier, grandfather, George Lanier, grandmother, Louise Sanders, nieces: Caroline Lanier and Ansley Lanier and uncles: Timmy Sanders (Gloria), Hugh (Susan) Lanier and Hoyt (Tina) Lanier.

A gathering for family and friends to celebrate the life of Ms. Lanier will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
