Kenneth Douglas "Kenny" Thompson

Mr. Kenneth Douglas “Kenny” Thompson, age 41, of Auburn, Washington passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Kenny was born in Fort Lewis, Washington on September 23, 1983. He had lived the majority of his life in the state of Washington where he worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. Kenny enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the beach and cooking. He especially enjoyed the Christmas season. Kenny was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Kenneth and Marie Thompson, Kenneth and Lois Bortle and John and Karolyne Meredith; mother, Christine Kopsaftis and stepfather Bill Kopsaftis.

Kenny is survived by his son, Collin Douglas Thompson; parents Troy and Karolyne Thompson; four sisters: Sarah Miller, Heidi Gould, Kristin Roberts and Abigael Thompson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 3:00 pm in Northview Cemetery, Cedartown with Father Danel officiating.

Pallbearers will include Troy Thompson, Ken Thompson, Royal Riley, Steven Riley, Connor Harrington and Johnathon Nichols.

Family and friends will gather at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Saturday at 1;30 pm for a period of visitation until 2:30 pm.
