Kenneth Forrister

Mr. Kenneth Forrister, age 49, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 in a Rome medical center.


Kenneth was born in Cedartown, GA on June 5, 1962 a son of Orval C. Forrister and Shelby Adkins Forrister. He had lived all of his life in the Paulding and Polk County area. Kenneth was a graduate of Rockmart High School, was a member of the Church of Christ and was a former employee of Lockheed. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Sandra Jo Forrister and Barbara Lee Harpe.


Survivors include his mother, Shelby Forrister, Rockmart; father, O.C. Forrister, Cedartown; sister, Jeannie Graham and husband David, Cedartown; three nieces, six nephews; thirteen great nieces and nephews and special friends Candi and Rocky.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Jesse Davis and Candi Taff delivering eulogies. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.


Pallbearers will include: Michael Graham, Chris Graham, Caleb Graham, Jeremy Morales, Kenny Causey and Charlie Woody.


The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
