Kenneth Shane Deems

Mr. Kenneth Shane Deems, age 51, of Taylorsville, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at his residence.

Shane was born in Rome, GA, on September 2, 1971, son of Lillian Haney Deems Binnion and the late Kenneth Fain Deems. He had lived all his life in Polk County and enjoyed the outdoors. Shane cherished the time he spent with his family.

Shane is survived by his mother, Lillian Binnion; sister, Gay (Kenneth) Weaver of Aragon; nieces, Ashley Hopkins (Russ), and Amber Weaver (Cheston Haygood) great-nieces and great-nephews, Autumn Hopkins, Sadie Hopkins, Payton Mulkey, Preston Mulkey.

Memorial services for Shane will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Thomas officiating. Katie Young will deliver the eulogy and Corey Haygood will be singing "Simple Man".
