Kerry Grantham

Mr. Kerry Grantham, age 53, of 361 Braswell Mountain Road, Rockmart passed away Monday, August 16, 2010.


He was born in Atlanta, GA on May 31, 1957 son of Norman ?Cotton? Grantham and the late Maxine Meeks Carter. Kerry had lived the past 13 years in Rockmart moving here from Dallas, GA. He was self employed as a carpenter. Kerry had a love for animals and enjoyed gardening.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Meeks Carter and by a brother, Lindsey Grantham.


Survivors include his Soul Mate and life partner Elaine Emerson Grantham, Rockmart; step son, Charles Bagby and his wife Lisa, Rockmart; step daughter Angela Henry, Dauphin Island, AL; four grandchildren: Debra, A.J., Joseph, and Malachi; father, Norman ?Cotton? Grantham; sister, Angel Jeffries, Zebulon, GA; brother, Christopher Grantham, Macon, GA; grandmother, Lounell Austin, Washington, GA; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews also survive.


Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.


The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 Noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
