Larry Cole

Mr. Larry Cole, age 63, of Wheeler Ford Road Rockmart passed away Friday October 4, 2013 upon arrival to Polk Medical Center, Cedartown.


He was born in Cartersville, GA on October 24, 1949 a son of Edward Cole and Helen Grant Cole. Mr. Cole had lived all of his life in Cartersville before moving to Rockmart in 1993. He was a heavy equipment operator for C. W. Matthews Contracting Company and he loved to fish.


Survivors include his wife, Lydia Stoddard Cole to whom he was married on February 9, 1993; four children: Annette Cole, Mandy Cole, Madilyn Cole and Matthew Cole all of Cartersville; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers: Charles Cole, Dallas, Kenneth Cole, Cartersville and Billy Cole, Rockmart; sister in law, Lynn Cole, Cartersville and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.


Memorial services will be held Monday, October 7, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
