Larry Duke

Mr. Larry Duke, age 64, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Rockmart, GA on February 22, 1957 a son of the late Edward Duke and the late Annie Louise Searles Duke. Larry had lived all of his life in the Rockmart area and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and driving around the countryside. Larry enjoyed fishing, raising chickens and his dogs. He was a supervisor with Presley Floor Covering.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Duke to whom he was married on June 26, 2012; seven children: Beth Franks, Stacy Jones, Mandy Duke, Hannah Wilson, Sarah Ely, Yvonne Schaub and Dillon Toole; two sisters: Annie Ruth Brown and Brenda Gail Jones; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Searles and Rev. Dennis (Scooter) Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Dennis, Wesley and J.T. Camp, James Wilson, Dillon Toole and Addison Franks.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
