Larry L. Harrell

Mr. Larry L. Harrell, age 74, of Hiram, GA, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Larry was born in Cedartown, GA on August 22, 1948, a son of the late Dewey Harrell and the late Ida Mae Cody Harrell. Larry lived his childhood years in Polk County prior going into the Navy where he served his country during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and was a Christian by faith. Larry retired from Lockheed Martin as a flight line inspector.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Allgood Harrell on January 8, 2022; brothers, Max, Bobby, and Jimmy Harrell; and sister, Betty Gable.

Survivors include his children, Shannon Anderson of Carrollton and David Childers of Dahlonega; five grandchildren, Evie Gammage, Lori Gregory, Tia Anderson, Zackary Blackstone, and Austin Blackstone; four great-grandchildren, Ryder Gregory, Delilah Gregory, Mina Jeanmarie, and Ever Gammage; sister, Yvonne Wheeler of Rockmart; brothers, Doug and Ronnie Harrell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, Larry will be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
