Mrs. Laura Mildred Bradley, age 74, of 3678 Wax Road, Aragon passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Franklin, TN on October 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Arthur Curtis Kelley and Fannie Pearl Chilton Kelley. Laura had made her home in Floyd County since 1986 moving from Douglasville. She was a housewife and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons: Robert Eugene Bohanan and Michael Lee Bohanan, Sr.; and three brothers: Buford, Carl, and Jack Kelley
Survivors include her husband, Mr. John Bradley of Aragon, to whom she was married on November 1, 1968; son, Charles Bohanan, Buford, GA; two daughters: Dianne Cook Collins, MS and Linda Gail Bohanan, Aragon; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Minister Alvis Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens of Douglasville, GA.
Pallbearers will include: James Davenport, Warren Watts, Bobby Long, Brian Ballard, Herb Bradley, and Norman McEntyre.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
