Lee Emma Wilson

Mrs. Lee Emma Moore Wilson, age 88, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Rockmart, GA on January 11, 1933 a daughter of the late Russell Cornelius Moore and the late Lura Gennett Hicks Moore. Mrs. Wilson had lived all of her life in the Rockmart and Aragon area and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. She and her late husband Mack owned and operated Wilson Super Save Supermarket for many years in Rockmart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McBryde “Mack” Wilson; by a son, Phil Wilson; by two brothers: James Moore and Clarence Moore and by two sisters: Vera Coffman and Rachel Davis.

She is survived by two sons: David Wilson and his wife Charlene and Thomas Wilson and his wife Michelle; four grandchildren: Bryan Wilson and wife Melissa, Brad Wilson and wife Savannah, Makayla Wilson and Mackenzye Wilson; four great grandchildren: Lane Wilson, Colt Wilson, Lily Wilson and Levi Wilson; sister, Lois Chapple; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Colt Deems officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Bryan Wilson, Brad Wilson, Chris Miller, Greg Wilson, Terry Ledford, Keith Sorrells and Michael Chapple.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at 3:00pm.
