Linda Bailey

Mrs. Linda Bailey, age 72, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her residence.

She was born in Sulfur Springs, Texas on April 19, 1941 a daughter of Wilburn Hulsey and Mary Kate Martin Hulsey. Linda had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County where she was a 1959 graduate of Cedartown High School. She worked for forty four years at the Handy Andy Convenience Store in Rockmart. Linda was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Gerald Hulsey.

Survivors include a daughter, Jayne Googe, Summerville, SC; a son, Wayne Bailey, Rockmart; three grandchildren: Jessica Schliewenz, Casey Googe and Sarah Bailey; one sister, Sue Pilgrim, Dallas, GA; two brothers: Freddie Hulsey and Cecil Hulsey both of Cedartown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include: Danny Rodriguez, Gary Morales, Randy Dixon, Scott Moody, Coy Pope and Cody Hulsey.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
