Linda Gail Deems Ingle

Ms. Linda Gail Deems Ingle, age 57, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 suddenly at her residence.

Gail was born in Rome, GA on April 2, 1957 a daughter of the late Willard Deems and Mildred Pope Deems. She had lived all of her life in the Floyd and Polk County area. Ms. Ingle was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin May and by a sister, Faye Smith.

Survivors include two daughters: Kimberly May and her husband Michael of Cartersville and Brittney Pruitt and her husband Michael of St. Marys, GA; five grandchildren: Andrew Cordle, Austin May, Nick May, Max Pruitt and Rylynn Pruitt; one sister, Shirley Bridgeman, Aragon; two brothers: Robert Deems, Cedartown and Rev. Tim Deems and wife Missy, Aragon; special friend, Mike Walker, Rockmart. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Deems and Rev. Colt Deems officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Nick May, Austin May, Andrew Cordle, Dwight Smith ,Kevin Smith and Jamie Cook. Max Pruitt will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
