Linda Joyce Hester

Ms. Linda Joyce Hester, age 72, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. She was born on May 17, 1948 in Atlanta, GA, to her loving parents: Raymond and Eleanor Palmer Hampton. Although born in Atlanta, she spent most of her life in Rockmart. Ms. Hester worked for the City of Rockmart Police Department in the administrative office and was Baptist by faith. In Linda's free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, but most importantly she loved spending time with her family and especially her great-grandbaby, Addilyn. Ms. Hester was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Hester and her sister, Barbara Hester.

Ms. Hester is survived by her father, Raymond Hester and her mother, Eleanor Hampton , son, John Bohannan ( Sandy), granddaughter, Kayla Bohannan (Tyler Sullivan), great-granddaughter, Addilyn Sullivan, brothers: David LeNoir (Ed Hewett), James LeNoir, William Marsh (Teresa) and Raymond Hester.

Graveside Funeral Services for Ms. Linda Joyce Hester will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Paul Turner officiating and her brother, David LeNior giving the eulogy.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM.
