Linda June Maxwell

Mrs. Linda June Maxwell, age 65, of 214 Hampton Street, Rockmart passed away Sunday June 8, 2008.

She was born in Paulding County, GA on July 8, 1942 a daughter of the late Rev. Herman Camp and Lorene Alexander Camp. Mrs. Maxwell had been a resident of Rockmart since 1961 where she was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. She retired following 28 years of service from Engineered Fabrics Corporation as a Quality Control Supervisor.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Ralph D. Maxwell of Rockmart to whom she was married on July 19, 1986; one daughter, Mrs. Monique Wheeler, Rome; one son, Mr. Jeff Austin, Rockmart; two granddaughters: Jenna Forsyth and Sherrie' Austin; one sister, Mrs. Donna Amerson, Ashville, NC; two brothers: Mr. Dumont Camp, Rockmart and Mr. Jackie Camp, Duluth, GA; one niece and one nephew also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11 th. at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Tony Weaver officiating and a eulogy given by the family. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Ken Williams, Ed Williams, Forrest Maxwell, Barry Maxwell, Wally Amerson and Barry Gore.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
