Linda Mobbs

Mrs. Linda Mae Mobbs, age 71, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.

Linda was born in Cedartown, GA, on June 7, 1952, daughter of the late Bennis Sanford and Helen Shiflett Sanford. She attended the University of West Georgia and received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Linda was a Registered Nurse working with Northwest Regional Hospital prior to retirement. She loved to cross stitch, go to the ocean, loved the country, and when her health permitted, she enjoyed going to the gym.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Conner Lee Mobbs, Sr. whom she married November 11, 1971.

Linda is survived by a daughter, Amanda Patterson of Taylorsville; son, Conner Lee Mobbs, Jr. of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Austin Patterson, Ally Mobbs, Madison Mobbs, Ansley Mobbs, and Abigail Mobbs; sisters, Jeanette “Judy” Carter and Shirley Roden, both of Rome, GA.

Graveside funeral services for Linda will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Northview Cemetery with Brother Melton Moss officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:00 noon until 1:30 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
