Lisa Tibbetts

Mrs. Lisa Tibbetts, age 27, of 253 Carter Mountain Road Rockmart, GA passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009.


Lisa was born in Rome, GA on April 3, 1981 a daughter of Vernon Paul Waddell, Sr. and Betty Brand Waddell. She had lived all of her life in Polk County where she attended Rockmart High School. Lisa was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Vernon Paul Waddell, Sr., by a sister Roshanda Waddell and by a brother, Ronnie Waddell.


Survivors include her husband, Mr. Clint Tibbetts and four children: Austin Tibbetts, Clayton Tibbetts, Logan Tibbetts and Chloe Tibbetts all of Rockmart; mother, Mrs. Betty Waddell, Rockmart; five sisters: Tammy Brown, Cedartown, Marie Cole, Rockmart, Sunday Stephens, Cave Spring, Paula Waddell, Rome and Regina Peek, Rockmart; five brothers: Vernon Waddell, Jr., Aragon, Timmy Waddell, Aragon, Shane Waddell, Rome, Jeffrey Waddell, Rockmart and Brandon Waddell, Rockmart; grandmother, Mrs. Lottie Brand, Rome; father in law, Richard Tibbetts, Rockmart and mother in law and father in law Sue and Tim Campbell, Rockmart; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Boatner and Rev. Tim Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Wayne Cole, Brandon Waddell, Josh Campbell, Jeffrey Waddell, Blake Brock and Austin Stephens.


The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.


The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Lisa Tibbetts.
