Lonnie "Lonzo" Duane Forrister

Mr. Lonnie "Lonzo" Duane Forrister, age 56, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. He was born on May 8, 1965 in Cedartown, GA, to his loving parents: Dewie E. Forrister and Glenda Nell Boothe Forrister. Lonzo was a lifelong resident of the Cedartown area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was working as a tree service laborer. Mr. Forrister was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Forrister was preceded in death by his father, Dewie E. Forrister and his brother, Laron Edward Forrister.

Survivors include his loving mother, Glenda Forrister of Cedartown, GA, sister, Renee Shanks of Cedartown, GA, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Mr. Forrister will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Minister Justin Mason officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.
