Lora Marie "Nana" Brand

Mrs. Lora Marie "NaNa" Brand, age 58, of Silver Creek, GA passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 in a Rome medical center following a three year illness.

She was born in Calhoun, GA on October 20, 1958 a daughter of James Terrell Little and Johnnie Marie Carver Little. Mrs. Brand had lived all of her life in Floyd County, enjoyed sun bathing at the beach and collecting sea shells. She enjoyed listening to the preaching of John Hagee through his Global Evangelism Television ministry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Joe and Dan Little and a sister, Karen Elizabeth Little.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny L. Brand; two daughters: Julie Marie Moore and Crystal Lynn Martin; four grandsons: C.J. Thomasson, Shawn Moore, Jacob Chubb and Nate Martin all of Silver Creek.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Brand will be cremated and there will be no formal services held.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society.
