Mack Arthur Pinion, Sr.

Mr. Mack Arthur Pinion, Sr., age 73, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Aragon, GA on August 17, 1945, a son of the late James Daniel Pinion and the late Goldie Pauline Edwards Pinion. Mr. Pinion spent his early life in Aragon and the greater part of his life in the Van Wert and Rockmart area. He enjoyed working on cars; loved to fish; and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Pinion was retired from General Motors where he worked for 35 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: James and Gerald Pinion and sister, Barbara Pinion.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Fann Pinion, Rockmart to whom he was married on January 16, 1964; son, Mack Pinion, Aragon; two daughters: Karen Deems and Sadie Latham, both of Rockmart; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters: Christine McDowell, Rockmart, Mamie Hogan, Rockmart and Janie Tant, Dallas; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Brother Ray Tant and Pastor Chris McDowell officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
