Margaret Louise Childers

Ms. Margaret Louise Childers, age 87, of Lithonia, GA passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012.


She was born in Polk County, GA on April 25, 1925, a daughter of the late J.R. Childers and the late Mary Yarbrough Childers. Ms. Childers had lived the early part of her life in the Aragon and Cashtown area and attended the Aragon School. She had been a resident of Lithonia, GA for the past ten years.


Survivors include her brother, Rollie Vaughn Childers, Conyers, GA; two nieces: Amy Kay Joyner and Cindy Ann Monroe; two great nieces and two great nephews also survive.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Warriner officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
